Pepper is a 9-year-old sun conure
I also got from Connie W. and is a big hit at the shows because of
her gorgeous colors. She and Ziggy like to share each other's cages
and often have sleep-overs like cousins. She loves to get into her
food dish and toss the pellets all around the cage or room, until we
started putting them in a coffee mug inside a food dish so the
tossing would be contained somewhat. She even would attack the
spoon I used to put the pellets into a finch-sized covered feeding
dish - nothing worked in containing the mess (and Harrison pellets
are too expensive to just sweep into the trash!). Now she tends to
leave her pellets alone and toss Ziggy's instead so we ended up
hunting up another mug for her.
